Eskedar Meshesha joined NFP Partners in 2025 and is an accomplished finance and operations leader. She has experience collaborating closely with executive leadership and nonprofit board members to ensure long-term fiscal sustainability and organizational efficiency.

As an Accounting Team Supervisor, Eskedar plays a key leadership role in driving team success. She performs Senior Accountant-level work while reviewing client deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.

Eskedar also contributes to business development by participating in new client discovery calls and client onboarding. Additionally, Eskedar leads team meetings, conducts regular check-ins, and provides problem-solving. Her commitment to fostering individual growth and supporting her team reflects her dedication to mentorship, collaboration, and excellence.

Eskedar’s Career

With over 15 years of experience in nonprofit financial management, Eskedar has held key positions across a range of mission-driven organizations. Before joining NFP Partners, she served as Director of Finance for KIPP Massachusetts. Here, she led financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. She also ensured compliance with GAAP and nonprofit regulatory requirements.

Furthermore, Eskedar has held many leadership roles where she gained deep experience in audit preparation, HR management, financial reporting, and operational strategy. Her career began as a staff accountant, giving her a strong foundation in payroll, compliance, and financial analysis.

Eskedar holds an MBA and an MSA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Management Information Systems and Criminal Justice & Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her technical toolkit includes proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage Intacct,  SAP, and QuickBooks.
