New Accountants in Town! NFP Partners Welcomes New Team Members
With a growing need in the nonprofit space for strong financial management comes an opportunity for NFP Partners to provide such with more accounting consultants than we’ve ever had before. Since late 2021, we’ve welcomed five new staff accountants! We’re excited for them to get to know the incredible nonprofits we work with. Katherine "Kayti" Kloimwieder
Kayti made her way to NFP Partners in late 2021. She supports our nonprofit clients with their financial management from Dayton, Ohio. Kayti brings to the team over 15 years of high-level accounting experience which includes preparing and analyzing financials, creating budgets, and presenting at board meetings. When she’s not working, Kayti is traveling and spending time with her partner, Daniel, and her cat, Eddie.
Our first new hire of 2022 was Courtney Wright from Kearney, Missouri. She has more than 14 years of working in mutual fund accounting. Courtney also has experience overseeing daily expense postings and reviewing accounts payable to multiple fund managers and service providers. She loves to travel with her husband and three boys. They spend their summers on a diamond cheering on the kids during their baseball games and watching their favorite baseball teams.
In March 2022, NFP Partners welcomed Mandy Chen to the team. Mandy is an experienced professional in the accounting and finance world! Mandy has spent the last 19 years in an institutional accounting setting with exposure to various investment instruments. She’s also worked with accounts payable/receivable functions, budgeting, and comes with process improvement and management experience.
Mandy spends time outside of work volunteering for several nonprofits in her community. She also enjoys getting outside with her son and dog, watching her son play baseball, or traveling to see as much of the world as possible.
Shortly after Courtney joined the team, NFP Partners welcomed Kim to the mix! She’s a licensed Florida CPA with over 20 years in the nonprofit accounting space. Kim’s experience includes over a decade of auditing. She has performed audits of nonprofit organizations, prepared Form 990s, and supported peer reviews.
When she isn’t plugged into work, she’s volunteering for local animal charities, reading, crocheting, baking, or spending time with her husband and furbabies.
Faith is NFP Partners’ most recent hire and joins the team from Omaha, Nebraska. She will be supporting nonprofit organizations with daily accounting functions like accounts receivables, accounts payable, and payroll. She brings experience in public accounting and agriculture. Previously, Faith has worked on audits and 990s as a staff accountant with a public accounting firm that specialized in nonprofit work.
Faith enjoys spending time with her cat, family, and friends, reading, and cooking.
